Kazakhstan cuts oil refining by 0.4% y/y in Jan-Nov.

Oil refining output reached 12.369mn tonnes in Jan-Nov, down by 0.4% y/y. In November alone, the total volume of 1.063mn tonnes of crude oil was refined. The Pavlodar Oil Refinery limited its operations by 4.8% y/y in Jan-Nov to 4.1375mn tonnes. PetroKazakhstan Oil Products (PKOP) refined 4.157mn tonnes, down by 0.7% y/y. On the other hand, the Atyrau Oil Refinery registered an increase in processing of 4.9% y/y reaching 4.0746mn tonnes. Production of car gasoline in Kazakhstan decreased by 6.4% y/y to 2.462mn tonnes. Refineries in Kazakhstan produced 3.6929mn tonnes of diesel fuel, a y/y reduction of 1.6%.
