Kazakhstan-China pipeline transmits 10mn tones in 2010.

Oil pipeline from Kazakhstan to China transmitted 10mn tones in 2010, according to data concluded on Dec 28. It is the first time, when the route achieved its designed oil transmission capacity since its formal commercial operation. The pipeline cost USD 3bn. Its first phase was put into operation in 2006. The pipeline is 2800 km long in Kazakhstan and more than 240 km long in China.
