Kazakhstan and Ukraine in talks on joint plane production.

Kazakhstan and Ukraine are in talks on starting joint production of planes in Kazakhstan. Amangeldy Zhumabayev, Kazakh Deputy Foreign Minister, announced that a construction site had already been chosen in Almaty. Kazakhstan lacks new planes as for its domestic flights its needs about 100 new machines. The aircrafts produced in cooperation with Ukraine could also be exported to neighboring countries.
