Kazakhstan and France sign Deal on nuclear fuel plant. Kazatomprom and Areva signed a deal on construction of a nuclear fuel plant. The deal will help Kazakhstan to become a top global producer of uranium. The construction of the plant will start as soon as the feasibility study is completed in Q1/12. The plant will consist of a new production line at Ulba metallurgical plant that will be owned by Kazatomprom (51%) and Areva (49%).
