Japanese electronics maker Sony to withdraw from Hungary.

Japanese electronics giant Sony will move out of Hungary, the company announced. Currently, Sony operates a plant in the city of Godollo, northren Hungary, for the production of Blu-ray disc players and DVD recorders. Production would be relocated to Malaysia in order to improve profitability on a group level. The Sony plant in Hungary would halt operations till the end of the current year. The plant employs 540 people.
