Italys Vescovini Group to set up Serbian plant.

Italian machinery manufacturer Vescovini Group plans to invest EUR 5-7mn in the construction of a factory in Sabac, western Serbia, Blic reported. A memorandum of understanding for the construction of the plant has been signed by Sabac mayor Milos Milosevic and Vescovini representatives. The plant will initially create 75 jobs. The Vescovini Group comprises three main divisions, SBE (Cold Forging Manufacturing), located in Monfalcone, OSD (Hot Forging Manufacturing) situated in Pioltello, and V.AR.VIT. (Distribution), headquartered in Reggio Emilia. The Vescovini Group produces automotive, truck, agricultural and earth moving machines, engine and gear box, driveline and axles etc.
