Internet users in Montenegro up 11.3% y/y in October.

The total number of broadband connections (including ADSL, WiMAX, WiFi, KDS) in Montenegro expanded by 11.3% y/y to 82,705 in October, the telecommunications agency announced. The ADSL connections dominated the market with an 83.1% share and reached 68,731, up 8.7% on the year. WiMax connections rose by an annual 4.7% to 7,588 but their market share dropped to 9.2% from 9.8% a year earlier. The market share of WiFi connections in Montenegro rose to 4% from 3.6% in October 2011. The total number of prepaid and post-paid users of mobile operators who accessed the internet in October was 210,578, out of them some 48.3% (101,690) used 3G technologies.
