Insurance arm of blue-chip Eurohold Bulgaria acquires United Health Insurance.

EuroIns Insurance Group (EIG), the insurance arm of blue-chip Eurohold Bulgaria (SOFIX: 4EH), acquired the full stake in United Health Insurance (UHI) as part of a strategy to consolidate the market share of the health insurance business, the holding announced on its website. The value of the transaction has not been disclosed. The deal is expected to be finalised by the end of May. EuroIns Health Assurance (the health insurance arm of EIG) expects to become one of the top 3 largest companies on the market for voluntary health insurance in Bulgaria following the acquisition. Management projects BGN 4.4mn in revenue by the end of 2012, up by 35% compared to 2011.
