IMF mission sees progress in budget consolidation in Montenegro.

The IMF delegation, which arrived in Montenegro on Feb 23, concluded that the country has achieved progress in terms of budgetary and financial consolidation despite worsening of the external economic environment, the press office of the government announced. Montenegro's stands out with respect to reforms implemented and progress achieved, the head of the IMF delegation, Gerwin Bell, and PM Luksic noted. The mission is expected to offer Montenegro recommendations as to how to proceed with the reforms in order to secure long-term growth and competitiveness.
