IIP increased by 9.6% y/y in July.

Vietnam's Index of Industrial Production increased by 9.6% y/y in July this year, slowing down from the 12.7% y/y growth posted in June. As reported by Reuters News, according to data released by the General Statistics Office, the index increased by 8.8% y/y for the first seven months of this year, declining from the annual pace of 9.7% y/y recorded in the first half of this year. The IIP increased by 6.1% m/m in July, escalating from the 4.6% m/m increase recorded in June.
