Hyundai launches serial production of three-door version of i30 at Czech plant.

South Korea's Hyundai has launched serial production of a three-door version of the Hyundai i30 model at its plant in the Czech eastern town of Nosovice, the company said in a statement. The new version of the company's top-selling model in Europe was presented at the Paris Car Show in September and is scheduled to be offered for sale before the Christmas holidays. Hyundai Motor Czech has been assembling the five-door hatchback since January and the combi version of since June. The company assembled 260,084 cars in the first 10 months of 2012, up nearly 30% on the year, according to data from the Automotive Industry Association showed. Hyundai was the only one of the three auto makers in the county to register an annual growth in Jan-Oct 2012 output, while Skoda Auto and TPCA saw their production falling.
