Hungarys mobile internet subscriptions up 1.2% m/m in Feb 2013.

The number of mobile internet subscriptions in Hungary increased by 1.2% m/m to 3.274mn in February 2013, the communications watchdog said. The growth rate was slower than January's rise of 1.7% m/m. The number of subscriptions with data transfer grew by 0.6% m/m to 2.45mn. The volume of transferred data declined by 14.6% m/m to 2.2mn gigabytes in February. In terms of market distribution, T-Mobile was still the market leader with a 47.16% share (up by 0.23pps). Telenor came second with a share of 29.93%, down by 0.37pps m/m. Vodafone was third as its share increased by 0.14pps to 22.92% of all mobile internet subscriptions as of end-February.
