Hungary's RFV wins district heating concession in Romanian Targu Mures.

Energy efficiency company RFV won a concession contract for upgrade and operation of the district-heating system in Romanian city of Targu Mures, the company announced. The deal will result in additional revenues of some HUF 1.2bn (EUR 4.2mn) per year. RFV plans to invest some HUF 6.5bn in mid-term period, of which HUF 3.8bn are projected in the first year of operations. It will finance 30% of the investment through own resources, while the remainder will be secured through bank loans. The company has already won similar contracts for operation of the district heating systems in another two Romanian cities - Gheorgheni and Zalau.
