Hungary's oil and gas company MOL plans to cut the wholesale price of diesel by HUF 4 per litre from December 21, 2011, MTI news agency reported, quoting unofficial sources. As a result of the expected change, the diesel retail price will decline to HUF 420 (EUR 1.387) per litre. The gas price will remain unaltered at HUF 395 per litre. This would be the second consecutive week, when MOL shifts the wholesale prices of diesel and keeps that of gas unchanged. Last week the fuel company lowered the price of diesel by HUF 3 per litre.
