Hungary's May industrial output up by 7.6% y/y.

The positive tendency in Hungary's industrial output continued, as the non-adjusted index grew by 7.6% y/y in May, after a 6.2% y/y expansion in April, the statistics office preliminary data showed. In workday-adjusted terms, the production increased by 2.6% y/y. The industrial output index, which excludes the effect of seasonal and workday factors, again showed no specific trend, inching down by 0.8% m/m in May. The index increased by 0.2% a month ago and dropped by 3.6% m/m in March. Revised figures and detailed information on the industrial output will be published on July 14.
