Hungary's March mobile internet subscriptions up by 3.3% m/m.

The number of mobile internet subscriptions in Hungary rose by 3.3% m/m to 1.39mn in March, the communications watchdog reported. The number of active mobile internet subscriptions increased by 3.59% m/m to 1.073mn. A positive change was observed also in the volume of transferred data, which swelled by 7.76% m/m to 1,383,000 gigabytes. Although its share declined by 0.18pps to 48.3%, T-Mobile remained the market leader in terms of total number of subscriptions. Telenor's share inched up on the month to 26.4% in March, but remained on second position. Vodafone came third with its market share up to 25.3% from 25.22% in February.
