Hungary's industrial output declines by 3.1% y/y in April 2012.

Hungary's industrial output dropped for the second consecutive month in April 2012 falling by 3.1% y/y in non-adjsuted terms, following a 1.6% drop in March, preliminary data from the statistics office showed. In workday-adjusted terms, the output also declined by 3.1%y/y. Seasonally-adjusted output decreased by 2.4% m/m, after edging up by 0.6% m/m in March 2012. In accumulated terms, industrial production contracted by 0.8% y/y in January to April 2012. Revised figures and detailed information on the industrial output will be published on June 15, 2012.
