Hungary's broadband subscriptions up 0.6% m/m in November 2012.

The number of broadband DSL, cable and optical internet subscriptions in Hungary rose by 0.6% m/m (or by 14,000 m/m) to 2.169mn in November 2012, the communications watchdog informed. The number of broadband DSL lines remained unchanged in monthly comparison at 775,168. Broadband cable subscriptions increased by 0.8% m/m to 875,761 and the number of optical cable subscriptions grew by 1.7% on the month to 316,990 as of end-November.
