Honeywell to invest EUR 38.3mn in Slovakia.

US manufacturer Honeywell International Inc plans to invest EUR 38.3mn in a plant for automobile turbocharges in Eastern Slovakia, information published on the website of the economy ministry reveals. It is expected that the company will employ at least 446 workers. The companys investment plan has been approved and it will be proposed to the government for investment aid grant. Honeywell could get direct financial assistance such as subsidies for acquisition of tangible and intangible assets as well as indirect support such as tax relief on income in accordance with the maximum aid intensity applicable to the region.
