Greece satisfied with Council of EU conclusions on Macedonia.

Greek foreign minister Dimitris Droutsas said that his country was satisfied with the conclusions of the EU Ministers Council regarding Macedonia, which remained unchanged as from last year, Macedonian Information Agency (MIA) reported. The Council of the EU has stated that maintaining good neighbourly relations, including a negotiated and mutually accepted solution to the name issue, under the auspices of the UN, is essential for Macedonias EU integration. The Council also said that it broadly shares the European Commissions assessment of Macedonias sufficient fulfillment of the political criteria.
