German WAZ sells media business in Bulgaria to BG Privateinvest.

German media group WAZ has sold its media business in Bulgaria to Vienna-based BG Privateinvest GmbH, Trud daily reported. The value of the deal was not disclosed. The sale includes leading dailies Trud and 24 Chasa, weekly 168 Chasa, several magazines, printing house Sofia and press distributor Strela. BG Privateinvest has media investments in Bulgaria and was set up by Carl Habsburg, Daniel Rutz and Hristo Grozev.
