German Henkel to invest EUR 14.7mn in adhesives plant in Hungary.

Local subsidiary of German's household products maker Henkel will invest EUR 14.7mn in the construction of an adhesives plant in the industrial park Tatabanya-Kornye, northwestern Hungary, portfolio.hu reported. The construction works will be completed in 2012. The new facility is expected to employ about 80. Henkel plans to merge its glue production activities from Poland, England and its plant in Vac into the new facility. The location of the plant was chosen to better serve the CEE logistics operations of the producer.
