German engineering company Bosch plans to transfer its production of car components from Wales to Hungary as of August, business daily Napi Gazdasag reported, based on information from spokesman for Bosch Hungarian unit Ferenc Ficzere. The process is expected to take one year. Specifically, the production of alternators for luxury cars will be moved to Miskolc and Hatvan, where Bosch already runs two plants. The operation will require the hiring of additional 400 employees for the Miskolc plant while the new jobs created in the Hatvan facilities will be less by an unspecified amount.
