General Electric, Winslow Group to build wind power park in northeast Bulgaria.

The US corporation General Electric and its local partner Winslow Group plan to build a wind power park in northeast Bulgaria in the municipalities of Vetrino and Novi Pazar, investor.bg reported. General Electric will provide turbines with up to 69 MW producing capacity. The investment value has not been disclosed yet. In February 2009, former economy minister Petar Dimitrov unveiled that General Electric was considering a EUR 800mn investment in a wind-power park in the country and was planning to review possible locations near the Black Sea coast.
