Gas transit through Kazakhstan almost flat in Jan-Aug.

Gas transit through Kazakhstan amounted to 52.4bn m3 in Jan-Aug, compared to 52.6bn m3 of gas in the same period of previous year. In August alone, gas transit made up 5.86bn m3, up from 7.3bn m3 in July and 4.7bn m3 in August 2010. Gas transited through Kazakhstan came from Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
