France invests over USD 780mn in Serbia in 10 years.

Over the last ten years France has invested over USD 780mn in Serbia, thus creating around 7,000 jobs, Beta news agency reported citing the chairman of the Serbian chamber of commerce Milos Bugarin. Direct investments from France accounted for USD 540mn out of the total, Bugarin said and added that Serbia should try to attract more direct investments from French companies. French companies are interested in investing in Serbia, particularly in the country's agricultural sector French ambassador to Belgrade Francois Xavier Deniau said as cited by the agency.
