Foreign direct investment in Macedonia at EUR 50.2mn in February 2011.

According to data of the central bank, foreign direct investment in Macedonia was an inflow of EUR 50.2mn in February, which compares with an inflow of EUR 51.2mn in January and an outflow of EUR 20.3mn in February 2010. The equity capital and reinvested earnings component was a net inflow of EUR 28.5mn in February. This compares with net inflows for the component of 9.5mn in January and EUR 18mn in February 2010. Foreign direct investment in Macedonia was an inflow of EUR 101.4mn in Jan-Feb, up 5.2 times y/y.
