Foreign direct investment in Macedonia amounts to EUR 14.6mn in September.

The foreign direct investment in Macedonia was a net inflow of EUR 14.6mn in September, which compares with an inflow of EUR 32.9mn in August and a net outflow of EUR 12.2mn in September 2009, according to data of the central bank. In September, the equity capital and reinvested earnings component showed a net inflow of EUR 18.5mn, reversing net outflows of EUR 24.2mn a month earlier and EUR 7.8mn in September 2009. In Jan-Sep, foreign direct investment in Macedonia has dropped by 19.7% y/y to EUR 111.4mn.
