Eurostat: Poland's HICP inflation inches up to 2.4% y/y in June.

The Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) in Poland was 0.3% m/m and 2.4% in annual terms in June vs. 2.3% y/y a month earlier, the EU statistical office Eurostat has said. HICP inflation for the whole 27 EU amounted to 1.9% y/y in June (vs. 2.0% in May). In the euro-zone, the inflation was 1.4% y/y vs. 1.6% a month earlier. The lowest annual HICP figures were posted by: Ireland (-2.0%), Latvia (-1.6%) and Holland (0.2%). The highest figures were noted by: Greece (5.2%), Hungary (5.0%) and Romania (4.3%). June's CPI inflation (as measured by the Central Statistical Office) rose by 0.3% m/m, while in annual terms, it amounted to 2.3%. In May, the annual inflation amounted to 2.2% y/y. ISB
