Eurostat: Poland's employment rises by 0.3% y/y in Q3/2009.

The number of persons employed in Poland in Q3/2009 rose by 0.3% y/y versus a rise of 1.1% a quarter earlier, according to provisional national accounts estimates published by Eurostat. In the whole European Union and in the euro-zone the employment fell by 2.0%, while in the euro-zone - by 2.1%. In quarter terms, the employment in the whole EU and the euro-zone fell by 0.5%. The quarterly data for Poland have not been published. The rises (in annual terms) were posted only in Poland . The highest falls were posted Latvia (16.3%), and Estonia (10.7%). ISB
