The market capitalisation of equities traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) rose by 3.56% m/m to MKD 122.58bn (EUR 1.99bn) at end-December, after increasing by 1.79% m/m a month earlier, according to data published by MSE. The market capitalisation of debt instruments rose by 1.07% m/m to MKD 12.51bn at end-December. The equity indices MBI10 and MBID both increased in December, by 1.65% and 2.24% respectively. The MSE's turnover rose by 54.25% m/m to MKD 588.5mn last month, while the number of transactions dropped by 20.25% m/m to 1,867. In December, foreign investors participated in 12.03% of the total turnover as buyers and in 27.03% of the total turnover as sellers. |
