The market capitalisation of equities traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) has increased by 0.24% m/m to MKD 127.81bn (EUR 2.07bn) at end-July, reversing a 1.95% m/m drop at end-June, according to data published by MSE. The market capitalisation of debt instruments increased by 0.36% m/m to MKD 10.07bn at the end of last month. The equity indices MBI10 and MBID both dropped in July, by 3.53% and 2.67% respectively. The MSE's turnover decreased by 83.34% m/m to MKD 273.9mn in July. This was due to a 97.94% m/m drop of the turnover of block transactions to MDK 30.1mn. On the other hand, the turnover of the classical trading increased by 37.54% m/m to MKD 243.8mn in July. Overall, the number of transactions dropped by 19.12% m/m to 1,366 last month. In July, foreign investors participated in 4.46% of the total turnover as buyers and in 24.15% of the total turnover as sellers. |
