Empresa Media buys Czech TV Barrandov.

Czech publishing house Empresa Media has bought TV station TV Barrandov, lidovky.cz reported. The value of the deal was not disclosed. Empresa Media acquired 99.7% of Barrandov Televizni Studio, which operates TV Barrandov, Empresa Media executive director Katerina Jelinkova said. Empresa Media, owned by local investor Jaromir Soukup, publishes magazines Tyden, Instinkt, Mlady Svet and Sedmicka.
