Electronics maker Hansol LCD to build production, storage units in Slovakia.

Electronic components producer Hansol LCD plans to invest in the construction of production and storage facilities in Voderady, western Slovakia. The company, which did not specify the amount of the investment, will hire about 160 workers. The construction works will start this year, while their completion and putting into operation is scheduled for next year. The production is expected to be between 600,000 and 720,000 items annually. Hansol LCD Slovakia is a Korea-based company that is engaged in the design, development, production and sale of electronic components used for televisions, laptops and monitors. Hansol is a subsidiary of LCD Slovakia, which is one of the biggest suppliers of Samsung Electronics.
