EIB considers EUR 30mn loan for Sparkasse banks in Macedonia, Bosnia.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) announced that it mulls EUR 30mn loan for the Bosnian and Macedonian subsidiary banks of Austrias Steiermaerkische Bank und Sparkassen. EIB said that the credit will be used for financing small and medium-sized projects, mainly such of SMEs, but also by other beneficiaries of any size and ownership, including local authorities. The objective of the loan is to improve access to term finance under favourable conditions.
