Another oil shale plant is to be built in Estonia near Narva, by the Estonian energy company Eesti Energia. The site to be built is going to be the largest industrial site built since 1991 in Estonia . The facility will produce fuel and oil products using oil shale. The facility is to reach full capacity by 2016, when it will use more oil shale than Narva power stations. Total investment into the project is estimated at EEK 18.5bn (EUR 1.2bn).
