EE: Nelja Energia to build a wind power plant in Lithuania.

Estonian wind farm operator Nelja Energia announced that it has acquired a wind farm near Ciuteliai in Lithuania. The company plans to invest EUR 60mn in the development of new wind farm in Lithuania. The pirce for Ciuteliai wind farm is undisclosed, yet the company acquired 50% of the shares. Nelja Energia is owned by Scandinavian investment fund Freenergy and Scandinavian energy company Vardar Eurus. Freenergy and Vardar Eurus have already invested nearly EUR 200mn in the development of renewable energy in the Baltic Countries.
