EE: More euros than kroons in circulation in Estonia.

Bank of Estonia indicated that as of Monday there were more euros in circulation in Estonia than Estonian kroons. The bank indicated that as of 1pm Monday there were EUR 255mn of euros in circulation, while Estonian kroons in circulation amounted to the value of EUR 250mn. Euros and Estonian kroons remain parallel means of payment in Estonia till January 14th, while kroons can be exchanged for euros in all banks in Estonia till the end of June. Limited number of banks will continue exchanging kroons till the end of 2011 in Estonia. While the Bank of Estonia will continue exchanging kroons for euros into 2012.
