EE: Estonian Railways cargo volume up by 14.6% y/y in January.

Estonian Railways, national railways infrastructure company, reports that on its infrastructure total of 2.6mn tons of cargo was carried in January, which indicates 14.6% y/y increase. The increase came from increasing oil shale freight volume, and of Kazakhstan goods transit. In 2009 total cargo volume on the companys infrastructure amounted to 25.4mn tons, which indicates 2.7% y/y decline. In 2010 the company forecasts total of 23mn tons of cargo to be shipped.
