EE: Estonian ports cargo volume up by 7% y/y in May.

Estonian ports recorded total cargo volume of 4.4mn tons in May, which indicates increase of 7% y/y, Statistics Estonia announced. In m/m terms cargo volume declined by 8%. In May 3.2mn tons of cargo were loaded on the ships, 3.5% y/y increase, and 1.2mn tons of cargo were unloaded, 16% y/y increase. In Jan-May total cargo volume in Estonian ports stood at 20.7mn tons, 14% y/y increase. In Jan-May cargo loaded on the ships accounted for 15.7mn tons, while cargo unloaded stood at 5.0mn tons.
