EE: Estonian newspapers advertising market up by 9% y/y in March.

Estimated total value of the advertisements published in the five biggest Estonian newspapers amounted to EUR 1.4mn in March, up by 9% y/y, a survey by media analyst Toomas Leito indicates. Volume of advertising on newspapers increased by 0.5% y/y in March and amounted to 881 pages. Leito indicates that advertising market has been growing slowly in March. In March one of the fastest growing segments were job advertising, while real estate advertisements were on the same level y/y. In Q1 advertising volume in the five biggest newspapers grew by 3% y/y, while revenues grew by 8% y/y and stood at EUR 3.2mn.
