EE: Estonian gambling operators revenues down by 2% y/y in 2010.

Estonian gambling operators association (EGOA) indicated that in 2010 total revenues of its members amounted to EUR 48.3mn, which indicates a decline of 2% y/y. Tonis Ruutel indicated that in 2009 net loss amounted to EUR 16.1mn, while in 2010 the companies have recorded a consolidated net profit of EUR 0.4mn in 2010. As of end-2009 there were total of 71 gambling halls in Estonia, while as of end-2010 there were only 59 gambling halls. Number of gambling machines amounted to 2,727 ones as of end-2009, and declined to 2,240 machines as of end-2010.
