EE: Estonian Air passengers volume up by 16.4% y/y 2011.

Estonian national airline Estonian Air recorded total passengers volume of 678,049 in 2011, which indicates increase of 16.4% y/y. In December the company carried total of 44,541 passengers, 4% y/y increase. Rauno Parras, commercial manager at Estonian Air, noted that given the economic uncertainty, the growth rates are very good, and current bookings for 2012 indicate continuing trend. In 2011 the company operated 11,691 flights, 11.5% y/y increase. In December the company operated 883 flights, an increase of 16.1% y/y. Estonian Air operates flights to 25 destinations from Tallinn.
