EE: Estonian Air passengers traffic up by 8% y/y in August.

National air company Estonian Air announced that it has carried total of 59,197 passengers in August, which indicates increase by 8.2% y/y. The number of passengers increased for fourth month running. In Jan-Aug period Estonian Air passenger volume stood at 383,271 passengers, down by 1.6% y/y. 345,511 passengers were carried on regular flights, which indicates decline of 2.5% y/y. 361,361 passengers were flying through Tallinn Airport. Rauno Parras, vice president for commerce at Estonian Air, indicated that the eight months results were strongly influenced by decline in the first four months of the year.
