Estonian national airline Estonian Air records net profit of EEK 45mn (EUR 2.9mn) in Q3. The company indicates that it has recorded a net loss of EEK 10mn due to the ash cloud in April. Ilona Eskelinen, spokeswoman for Estonian Air, indicated that the company would have recorded a net profit in Jan-Oct period if not for the ash cloud. In September the company recorded 12.3% y/y increase in passengers' number with 57,398 passengers travelling on the Estonian Air flights. In Jan-Sep the company recorded total passengers' traffic of 440,669 passengers, which remained at par y/y. In Jan-Sep period the company operated 7,738 flights, up by 0.8% y/y.
