EE: Estonia ranks 40 according to attractiveness for private equity investment.

Estonia ranked 40th in the Spanish business school IESE Business School ranking for attractiveness for private equity and venture capital investments. In the last ranking four years ago Estonia ranked 36th. Estonia improved its rank in economic activity index, investor protection index, and corporate management index, but plummeted from 7th position to 62nd position according to bad loans issued by banks. Latvia ranked 59th in the same index down by 2 spots, while Lithuania ranked 48th, down by 5 places. The list was topped with the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Japan, and Singapore.
