EE: Estonia down by six places in IT Competitiveness Index.

Estonia ranks 29th in the 2011 IT Industry Competitiveness Index, down by six positions y/y. Leader of the ranking is the USA, followed by Finland and Singapore. Latvia ranks 34th, Lithuania 41st, and Russia 46th. IT Industry Competitiveness Index has been created by the Economist Intelligence Unit, for the Business Software Alliance. The index compares 66 countries on the basis of 26 indicators to estimate the countrys capability to support strong IT production sector. The index has been published since 2007.
