EE: BaltCap acquires Air Maintenance Estonia.

Baltic private equity and venture capital fund BaltCap acquired 100% of Air Maintenance Estonia ( AME ), Estonias leading aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul company from airline group SAS. Kristjan Kalda, said that the fund intends to double existing production capacities in next two years. In 2009 AME revenues amounted to EEK 196mn with 160 employees. AME has been spun off from Estonian Air in 2002, and has been acquired by SAS in 2003. Lars-Olof Bolinder will continue as the CEO of AME .
