Danish Grundfos to complete EUR 58mn expansion in Hungary by mid-2013.

Danish pump manufacturer Grundfos plans to complete a HUF 17bn (EUR 58mn) project for the construction of its fourth plant in Hungary by June 2013, MTI news agency reported. The new plant will be located in Szekesfehervar, central Hungary. It will employ 300-350 workers by 2015 and will produce giant industrial pumps mainly for exports to Russia, eastern Europe and South Korea. In its three factories in Hungary, Grungfos currently employs 1,900 people.
