Daimler car plant in Hungary to start test production in 2011.

The construction of the new plant of German car producer Daimler in the Hungarian city of Kecskemet remains on schedule, communications director for the plant Edina Kozari Sztipich disclosed. She added that the test production phase of the project was planned to start in 2011. Daimler plans to produce class A and B Mercedes models in the Hungarian plant. The total investment costs for the construction were estimated at EUR 800mn.
